Our work begins with individual preference: the clothes a man already likes, his routines, the way he moves and the proportions he feels comfortable in. The role of our design and tailoring team is to translate those observations into garments with purpose.
At Hemis, contemporary international tailoring and Indian formalwear belong to the same wardrobe. Neither exists as a costume or a category apart. Each is considered on its own terms, for the life in which it will be worn.

Proportion
Shoulder, balance, length, rise and ease should form a coherent silhouette that works in movement.

Natural fabrics are chosen for function, touch, structure and their relationship with the intended piece.

Every commission can inform the next. We look for useful relationships between what you already own and what you may need.

A conversation worth having in person.
Our studio in Banjara Hills is where clients can discuss silhouettes, materials and commissions with the Hemis team. For a first conversation from elsewhere, we can begin remotely and clarify fitting arrangements based on your needs.
The house also offers ready-to-wear pieces through its online collection, with sizing and availability handled separately from individual bespoke orders.
